Hi, Bob! Wow! That's a great anecdote. I always carry a pair of silver dimes with perforations with me whenever I go into remote areas or foreign countries, just in case. DW can be gotten by collecting dew on a plastic sheet hanging on a laundry line. Of course, in the Himalayas one can always melt some snow.
I think it was Mallory who tried to climb Mount Everest in the 1920s, but he didn't survive. Incidentally, the big risk in the really high mountains is pulmonary edema. Would pulmonary edema lead to high fever? Matthew
