Hi, I have a young kid who developed an eye infection to the point where his eye was turning lighter in color with much eye matter. I syringed out a cc of old EIS which is brownish in color and syringed his eye yesterday morning. I repeated this again last night and this morning he has his eye open and it looks as normal as it can be except still slightly irritated. Clear in the eye itself though. When I see something like this, usually the treatment would be some teat udder infusion ointment, or in an older animal perhaps LA-200 antibiotic SQ and it will take 3 to 5 days to clear up. Also, if you make a mistake on a scratched cornea and use a steroid, you will blind the animal forever so I avoid steroids entirely. It is wonderful to find something so cheap, so quick acting and so safe! I will repeat the EIS for two more times, just in case.
