I assume by bugs you are referring to microbes, not insects. Insects are not directly affected by silver, but the CS can kill the flora they need to digest and this can cause them to starve. There are some bacteria that have lived for millions of years in silver rich soils. These have managed to develop an immunity to silver. Interestingly though it has been found that if these bacteria are removed from the silver rich soil after a few generations they completely lose their immunity. Thankfully none of these are pathogenic or interact with humans in any way. Marshall
