Your impression is incorrect. HVAC is only one of many forms of electrolysis. Be it high voltage, low voltage, AC or DC, it is all electrolysis. Typically electrolysis produces about 10% particles, though the range can be anywhere from 1% to 25% particles depending on process parameters.
