Using tap water to make CS: No one has yet demonstrated in any definitive way that the compounds that will/may be formed in tap water used to make CS are actually harmful. I seem to remember someone on this list who was making CS in India or some other primitive country where good water was not available. They were having wonderful results against things like malaria and other 3rd-world country diseases with CS that was made with water from the Ganges river! In fact, making CS in the water was the best and easiest way to purify it from all pathogens. Maybe the darker-skinned Eastern Indian folks dont show their blue skin as well?
