Grapefruit Seed Extract is often preserved with Benzalkonium chloride
(goes by several other names, Nonoxynol is one). It is antimicrobial in
itself and many challenges have been made as to the efficacy of GSE
being due to this preservative. I don't know about this issue either way
but I do know many are allergic to Benzalkonium Chloride.

It is also found in Dry Clean type carpet cleaners. Be sure to vacuum
well and don't put the baby on a just dry cleaned carpet. And it is
found in spermacidal jellies -- that is how I found out I was allergic,
made me itch!

Just a caveat when using GSE in the sinuses or anywhere else. Check for
sensitivity first.

Personally I would try 10-20% DMSO with CS.
