I use the Mystique portable nebulizer, paid ~$80, did not order the battery pack, another $40. I use 10% DMSO and CS, it does make me cough the first few breaths. I don't try to hold it too long but I keep doing it for at least 5 minutes. It helped me tremendously. But then I am not sensitive to DMSO.
Although 70% on anyone's face is concentrated enough to get the reaction you did. It is recommended not to every use ** more than 50% on sensitive skin**, like the face, neck, back of elbows and knees.
