That's a good question Paula. I do not recall seeing anything on how long the skin is more permeable. But I have seen no warning to be vigilante about what is put on the skin after DMSO, just at the time of application. That would imply to me that it is not a big concern. Drs. Jacob and Walker do not mention any issues with this in their books, which one would think would be the case if it were an issue. If I do come across anything I will post it.
I do know that it does not remain in the body for more than about 72 hours. But this would be a very long time for the skin to remain permeable.
