Depending on the frequency of the HVAC, the ions could be getting off the electrodes and plating back on as loosely bonded "dust"...then the DC cleans the dust off.
Slow the frequency down and see what happens. There might be a 'sweet spot' that keeps the gold in the middle. Back when I used to do gold plating, all the gold was in a cyanide solution and was plated out of that solution with low voltage DC [don't recall what voltage but looking at a gold brush plater should say..maybe 3 volts? ] at very low currents. That's been a while back. Gold was $32 an oz then. This indicates that there may be a very good reason that gold electrodes weren't used. I have a timer that turns off the relay to the HVAC after 2 hours and turns on a 30 VDC power supply to the rods for one hour. There is no sign of any gold in the water with a laser until about 10 minutes after the 30 VDC is applied. After one hour on the DC, the tyndall effect is as bright as the CS that I make in two hours using 15,000 VAC. > >I am pleased with the results I have heard back from those I have given it to, to use. > >I still have to get it tested and see if I can reduce the time required to make it. I assume at this time that the high voltage prepares either the water or the gold rods and the 30VDC is causing the reaction to take place. More than an hour on the DC will cause less of a tyndall effect. Perhaps the gold is redepositing back on the rod. > >Bill Amos > >[email protected] > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >. > > > > > > >*** > > > >-- >The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. > >Instructions for unsubscribing are posted at: http://silverlist.org > >To post, address your message to: [email protected] >Silver List archive: http://escribe.com/health/thesilverlist/index.html > >Address Off-Topic messages to: [email protected] >OT Archive: http://escribe.com/health/silverofftopiclist/index.html > >List maintainer: Mike Devour <[email protected]> > >
