Thanks for the helpful suggestions, especially about the throw-away
e-mail addresses.
Baffling that someone using the list would be motivated to tailor-make
infected messages, as several of us have evidently received. I am
glad to hear, though, that my observations seem to correspond to the
reality. One doesn't want to find oneself becoming unduly paranoid,
though a bit of paranoia may have some survival value these days. . .
