Well, as they say the Apple computer Company is the last recourse for the
"terminally" inept. :-)
3 times the price just to be left behind technically, but ........ secure.
Somebody did ask me recently what keeps them going still and I gave 3 reasons:
1. Fantastic advertising in every sense. Every time *I* see an Apple Ad,
even *I* want to run out and buy one! (Truth in advertising never did
bother them one bit .... I still remember their famous "Alligator Swamp Ad" )
2. It is true - if you don't want to do much - the Apple does come really
ready-to-go. Because it can't do much and there aren't many people out
there to talk to, anyway - except the other Apple Core/s. They just can't
join in with the real computer world....
3. There are 2 types of Apple User:
1. The buyer who got bitten due to lack of knowledge of the real world of
computers. Never gets caught again, once he knows.
2. The buyer who got ( as per 1) but is never going to admit
it! Instead, becomes a fanatical "pusher" of the product and leads others
astray............................
( A funny thing - as soon a female learns a bit about computing she leaves
the Apple Core in a flash. It is only the male that remains and becomes a
(2) )
