I think it is Laraine.  She is a conventional Western Med. MD who was
head of the orthopedic department of a Major San Francisco teaching
hospital.
 
She grew a grapefruit-sized tumor between her breasts.  She used fresh
air, sunshine, tons of veggies and prayer to heal herself.  She refused
surgery and radiation excpt to have the bulk of the thing reduced when
it threatened to burst. 
 
Day, re: chemo and radiation, "Why would I want to treat a disease that
kills cells with a treatment that kills cells?"  Or words to that
effect.
