Thank you Ruth. All but one of their adult kids were down there to help at one time or another after Charley. The exception was my wife, who sent us instead. Raising good kids: The best insurance policy a parent can have! <GRIN> They bailed out for Frances and stayed just south of Atlanta at a hotel for about 6 days. It turns out the house they have been given to stay in came through without a hitch, so they've decided to stay there to ride out Ivan if it hits. The cost of lodging and fatigue of the travel is more than they want to handle. So this morning Ivan's projected track is west of the peninsula, aimed more or less for the panhandle... and we wait.
