Just go to a store that sells silver used to make jewelry
and ask for "fine silver" (99.9% pure silver).
Don't use the lower grade used for most jewelery though.

Can anybody provide me with a source of silver obtainable in NZ?
The shipping costs are so high from USA that I end up paying more for the
shipping.
