I use a mix of 1 oz 10 ppm EIS-1 tsp pure msm-2 or 3 drops DMSO. This
isn't enough DMSO to cause any odor. The MSM and DMSO really, imho, make
it much more effective. You could still use 25 ppm + if you have it. I
do like to make and use higher ppm for some topical uses. Even if the
ear infection is "surface" the organisms must be down under the surface
of the skin. And the DMSO gets the EIS into the tissue. Which is maybe
why this mix is so effective even though it is lower ppm. It cleared the
ears of a rabbit with pseudomonas ear infections, which the vet gave up on.
I also have a lop eared rabbit whose ears stay dry with a daily one drop
dose of Natra-Bio's Candida Relief Remedy. It was actually started with
her for another problem, but after a couple of months her ears became
dry for the first time in over 2 years. (She a had thinnish smelly wax
in her ears ever since having an ear infection).

Have never tried adding DMSO yet in these cases. The infections in ears are
not internal but on the surface of the inner ear so not sure if the DMSO
would have a great effect, it certainly wouldn't make the dog smell very
nice .
Key thing is initially, keep ionic CS in contact with the infected area
almost constantly for the first few days, you should start seeing a
significant difference in the appearance of the inner ear and the odor
coming from the ear. If not try with antibiotics and you should have good
