Marshal, I have had several vets and physicians tell me NOT to use Hydrogen Peroxide in ears human or animal. They tout that it can damage the ear drum with the pressure it can cause. One doctor told me to use half DW and half Alcohol for cleaning ear canals it is less caustic and does not endanger the ear in any way. I had to mix the concoction to use on my own ears and it works very well.
