Hi,

I used to live in Bristol bay, Alaska.  One spring in the 1960's during the
spring thaw a woolly mammoth was found at the discharge end of the Naknek
river where it enters Bristol Bay.  It was standing fully encased in ice and
still hade vegetation in its mouth according to the locals that saw it.  I
can't testify since I didn't see it.  I believed it.
