Hello, Members of the List, This weekend marks the 75th anniversary of the great stock market crash that culminated in the panic sell-off of October 24, 1929. This should be OT, I suppose, but it seems to me that it may pass without mention. If anybody has first-hand or second-hand recollections of this event or its consequences, it may benefit young people in the future to leave a record of the impact of that event as you recall it.
