I agree with both Ken and Mike here, with one reservation: mainstream
physicists assert that "vacuum energy" is a reality, and there is an
incomprehensibly enormous energy contained within the "nothingness" of
space. If anyone can really make a breakthrough in tapping this
resource, energy will indeed be virtually limitless and not dependent
on such wonderful paragons of corporate virtue and free enterprise as
Kenny Boy Lay and his ilk. On that basis, I enjoy reading about
current efforts to tap the vacuum energy. Common sense will let us
identify most of the fraudsters, but allow us to keep an open mind
about current research efforts.

My sentiments exactly. Every time I read about a "free energy" device,
there are obstacles to reproducing it... the inventor is not disclosing
the details at all; the disclosure is incomplete or vague in some
details; the technology is very complex or involves expensive parts
fabrication to demonstrate; the effect is so subtle as to make the
results ambiguous; it just doesn't work as claimed.
Oh, yes, there's also the lengthy screeds of hand-waving pseudo science
that ends up being so much gibberish, using unique made-up vocabulary
or mis-using standard terms, or going completely off into the swamp of
mysticism or alchemy.
Oh! And there's *also* the "Complete plans, only $29.95!" scams...
<sigh>
Any fool who tries to profit from the invention of a free energy
technology is just that, a fool. Full and rapid disclosure is the only
path that will see it into the light of day.
Amadeus Amalfi, anyone?
Be well,
Mike D.
