A few months ago a veterinary journal came out with a report by Kentucky equine veterinarians. These are the ones that work on very expensive mares. You can imagine that getting a foal from one of these mares is a good economic thing to do. In any case, they had mares with very chronic urogenital infections. They treated these mares locally with CS & DMSO with marginal success. Then they treated IV....and cured nearly 100%. So...IV treatment has some value. Dr. Kenney
