Thanks for your reply. Glad to hear you use both sides of your brain. There was no mold in the house. But I did have mice. Eventually I had to call an exterminator.

What is the ambient humidity in that area? Mold can produce VOCs that are very potent in very minute amounts. They definitely can cause joint inflammation and have far reaching health effects.
