Overdose implies that you took more silver than your body could tolerate. To date no over dose situations are known to exist since the body excretes CS within an hour or two it does not accumulate.
It is possible that you were killing large numbers of bacteria in your joints if they are arthritic, but then you would expect to see that swelling in other joints too. Local die off reactions could cause some local inflammation, but still not likely. Speculation is a dangerous game and can lead you away from what is helping and also cause you to over look the real cause, as sol already pointed out. Many things run in cycles that could have conincided with your CS use. Unles you meticulously track everything that you are doing, not just from memory, but take detailed notes EVERY DAY it is not reliable to draw any conclusions from the information you have provided so far.
