Someone asked about olive leaf and antibiotics. I have
done some research on olive leaf and use it myself.
What I have noticed, is that it varies from brand to
brand in its effectiveness. I have tried two
different types and would be curious if others have
opinions about its usage and what type or brand is
best. As far as it cancelling out antibiotics, I have
come across two differnt web sites that say it negates
the effects of antibiotics. When I have used it with
antibiotics, I try not to use them within several
hours of each other. The advantage to using olive leaf
as an antibiotic, is that it also helps with yeast
problems. It can create some very strong reactions
though and some people have reported stomach
inflammation when using it. IT might be helpful to
take slippery elm when using it if you are prone to
stomach irritation.
