my experience is drinking up to four ounces of cs at a time, swishing each mouthful for 5 seconds or so, and doing it on an empty stomach will not mess up your bacteria in your intestine. gulping large quantities of cs or having it with food may be
an issue for some depending on the situation.
i always do cs on an empty stomach. i believe some of it is absorbed in the mouth and the rest in the stomach. i am told the first intestine -the small intestine- does not contain beneficial flora so even if some reaches there there is still no problem. as far as nebulizing cs, i would be suprised if it effected the intestinal flora.
seems like the LAST place it will effect.
use it in a reasonable way and cs is a superb antibiotic.
don't forget to spray it in ones eyes and hands when you are afraid of contracting the
flu or cold at parties, during airport travel, etc..
also you can use it as a general disinfectant by spraying on doorknobs, counters, etc..
using it with dmso i quickly cured a gum absess in 12 hours.
i use cs generally as a mouthwash and for tooth brushing a number of times a week.

I learned years ago on this list that to avoid damaging flora you simply drink the CS on an "empty stomach" which seemed to be about a half-hour before eating. Or even a half-hour after you've finished eating. This way the CS goes straight into your system and doesn't get as far as the intestines
Has this advice changed?

Oh one more thing…Good Flora, is needed for the body to maintain proper functioning and good digestion so if you take CS make sure you get something to offset the loss of good Flora. Any good pro biotic will do. ( Bio-K , yogurt )

Hello,

Does anyone have suggestions about where I can go for information on how to nebulise safely and information on whether or not the nebuliser my kids used for Asthma medication is sufficient?

Hello,

I have one of these:  http://www.nidekmedical.com/pulmo.htm    that was prescribed for my kids to deliver their asthma medicine...  would this work for CS?

I am very new to the area of CS and actually fear nebulising it as I read a report where nebulized CS caused someone to not be able to breath (I assume it killed so many "bugs" so quickly that the lungs filled up with dead pus?)

But I was hoping that as I gained knowledge and knew how to control the dose and when and when NOT to use nebulised CS that I might try it sometime... in that case, I was hoping that my kids nebuliser would work.

Can someone explain to me how oxygen plays into this?

(sorry for my ignorance)
