Perhaps you could find deionized water.

I am on Vacation in Brasil. I can not seem to find
distilled water here; they have no use for it here,
only in the hospitals and labs. I have tested the tap
water here which is pretty good ( 70 ppm) for tap
water. My question is if I use tap water to produce cs
is it useful for short term, I am only here for 45
days and I wont drink it daily like I did in the USA,
only when I need it. Believe me I would use distilled
water if I could find it here. Any comments would be
appreciated.
