My wife (who shall remain nameless) has had great success with CS on hemorrhoids. In fact, she uses full-strength Microdyn applied directly on the offending parts, and has consistently had near-immediate relief. I'm talking 30 minutes. Of course, Microdyn is much stronger than most of the CS in use today, and that may account for its quick relief. Another Microdyn miracle!
