No sea salt for me, thanks. Unfortunately it is too late for me to heal my own cavities, I have a mouth full of caps, root canals, fillings. Luckily, I happened to have all my amalgam fillings removed some 30 years ago, for another reason than mercury toxicity. And I have no steel posts in my root canals (when mine were done they weren't using titanium), however I do have one titanium post for an implant.
The root causes (pardon, couldn't resist) have been helped so much by CS as mouthwash along with peroxide. And brushing with soap, though I have recently switched back to a toothpaste (Weleda) as I cannot find soap that is ok for me. I have had extensive gum recession for years, and therefore extreme senstitivity because of the exposed roots. I'm not sure any gums are re-attaching, but the recession no longer seems to be progressing (or the rate has slowed considerably at least), and my teeth are no longer senstivie, even those exposed roots. And though I still get a little tartar build up, it is absolutely nothing compared to what used to happen. And I don't get new cavities any more. I have often thought, that though CS has done wonders for many conditions for me, if it did nothing but remove the tooth sensitivity, that would be reason enough to make it. sol V wrote:
Hi sol, Here is some good info on teeth that expalins a lot of things. the gums can come back even after they have receded. the flouride is the killer stuff that detaches the gum from the teeth in the first place. flouride is really bad stuff. best thing to brush teeth with is soap or a brine made from sea salt. things that contain glycerine put a coatnig on your teeth so they can not remineralize and fill in the cavities. Yes you can heal your own cavities at home. Unless some idiot dentist filled the hole with something. http://goodteeth.tripod.com/judd.htm
