Yes I heard that in class that they changed the parameters of what they call "high blood pressure"
Now there are lots of reasons but mostly this is to make more people fall in the "sick" range. Drug companies are selling less (costing more and making profits) but there are more people out there looking for alternatives so they now want to catch people earlier to get them on the drugs to make them dependent on them. IF the person goes for alternative and changes diet (low carb diet) starts to relax more and change their attitude (emotional stress) their blood pressure and cholesterol will go down. Though there is not a real problem with cholesterol in the diet it is caused by the body trying to heal the damage done by the high carbs, mostly sugar and grains that release the sugar quickly. I am not sure what used to be classified as "high blood pressure" but I read a report stating that they have lowered the readings for high blood pressure. 140 top number is now classified as in the high range and it formerly was not. I do not know what the former range was.Does anyone know? The reason(according to the article) for lowering the numbers is to prescribe more blood pressure meds to people for monetary reasons. I think that these drugs have some very bad side effects and I would want to try alternative things first. Is there a reason why the fda would outlaw Red Yeast if it helps? Is this for monetary reasons as well? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
