A woman I know had a problem with bladder/urinary burning, urgent need to go NOW!, pain, slight incontinence, etc. She was able to determine by paying close attention to what she was eating, that it was caused by orange juice, cranberry juice, juices fortified with vitamin C, etc.
While I don't know the reason for the problem, it appears that something about the acidity of these foods/drinks caused the urinary infection-like symptoms... Staying away from these acidic foods/juices has caused her problem to go away.
