Thae a funnel and upturn it in the sun tea jar. If it's plasctic, you can
dril a series of holes around the rim or notch it in several place to allow
water so circulate under it.
Plastic floats, so you'll have to weight it down. A stainless steel
washer or a few rounds of insulated heavy copper wire works...but seal the
ends of the wire with silicone because copper pulls silver out of the
water. A big zinc washer "might" work OK. [I haven't tried it]
A glass funnel is preferred. Use short lengths of vinyl tubing split
lengthwise to make spacers that hold the rim off the bottom.

 I do have a small,

# It will probably work, but look out for concentrating too much heat
under the funnel. If water temperature exceeds around 110-120 deg F it
tends to 'induce' agglomeration [yellowing]
It takes very little heat to get water moving.

## It's fine. It might be a touch on the strong side, no stirring may have
contributed, too much heat, some trace contaminant...lots of things and
combinations of things can kick a batch over to yellow. Pale yellow is
still very good stuff and peroxide to clear it up seems to be just the thing.

 ## Any sort of stirring helps any generator work better. Moving it 'too
fast' creates some electrode deposit problems though.
