It's 5AM and we just got back from the ER.

The doctor said his white cell counts on the CBC are normal and he does not have pneumonia but has infiltrates in his lungs but that could be scarring from when he had RSV at age 3 weeks. He had a 103 temperature when we got there and they were pretty concerned about this. (I usually don't treat a fever unless it hits 104 or has been at 103 for more than an hour). His oxygen saturation was at 82 percent when we came in (which is pretty low) but they gave him a breathing treatment with zopenex and it came right back to 100 percent.

They wanted to give him IV antibiotics but I asked them to let me see my doctor. The doctor had to make it clear to me that his recommendations were to give the antibiotics and that I assumed responsibility for leaving without them. My doctor is very conservative so hopefully I will still be able to dodge the antibiotic bullet.

Keeping my fingers crossed...

Thanks Ken,

I'm getting discouraged as my husband just woke me up (1:30AM here) to go listen to his breathing. It's labored - especially at night.

This has gone on for so many days and he's so lethargic. I do have GSE tablets and have given them to him in the past for candida - I'll try the GSE but if there is not significant improvement in the AM, I'm sure I'll have to take him to the doctor and of course we all know what that means...

I am interested to hear from the list which ratio of CS to gatoraide is recommended.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Blessings,

Lee Ann,

One thing you need to make sure of is that the unit
can output particles of between 2-5 micron, and how
much of the mist consists of these size particles.
Anything much larger than this and it may not be very
effective. Good units I've seen consists of about
30-60% of these size particles. You might have to
check the manufacturer website or call them. This
should be a good way to administer colloidal silver.

Also, consider oral use as well, by adding...is it two
or 3 parts Gatorade, guys? Brooks Bradley mentioned
that this appears to increase oral absorption
effectively by 4 times.

You might also consider oil of organo, and GSE liquid
(Grapefruit Seed extract, not grape seed). These are
powerful anti-microbials that may also help. Re the
GSE, start out first with a few drops in some orange
juice to check for allergic reaction, and increase
daily using gelatin or vegi capsules (tastes
terrible).

My wife has cured bronchitis twice, in about 3 days,
with high doses of GSE. We are trying to see how well
oil of oregano works. Unfortunately, I can't report
any miracles with any CS yet, although I still use it
from time to time and like it for it's safety and
price (almost free).
