I have had the same problem with my last 2 batches of CS. I ran it to 17ppm respectively. Which is more like 30, let it stabilize and when I added 3% H202 it turned a real dark grey colour. So now I'm waiting ti'll tomorrow to see if it will dissipate. So saying to add H202 a second time
would clear this up? Is it safe to be putting more then a few drops in per litre? If it is turning cloudy grey and muddy, you have large particles. When you add the H2o2 it is breaking the particles up, but if it is cloudy, you may have to ad the H2o2 a second time. Also, you can let it sit over night and by morning it should be clear. I have been using 3% H2O2, 2 drops/2oz. CS and it turns my CS (previously clear or a light yellow) to a cloudy grey or muddy colour. Comments?
