I have made several batches of higher than 30 ppm CS, and can attest to
how unpredictable and practically unrepeatable it gets. I have one batch
that is so fainly colored as to be able to be called clear, has been
stable for over 2 years, etc, etc. It finished up on the PWT around 60
something, and in storage stabilized at 39uS. But I've neer been able to
duplicate that batch.
I keep thinking the moons of my nails, particularly the thumbnails are
turning blue, but I don't remember what they looked like before I
started making and drinking my CS in quantity, some 3 or more years ago.
Since they don't seem to be changing, I guess it isn't the start of
argyria......I do like to worry about it, when I have nothing better to
worry about, LOL. Ya gotta keep your worrier excercised.

Given using the same method and materials, somewhere around 20-25 PPM
is generally repeatable. Going beyond 30 PPM and the odds of making a
nice batch that stays that way get less and less the higher you go
into the realms of "Good Luck"!
Argyria...turning grey...can be accomplished with home made CS when
using concentrations over around 50 PPM, taking a LOT of it over a
fairly long period of time.
