Without getting into the debate of if a microwave can negatively affect
food more than mere cooking, I would like to point out that microwaving
blood would effectively cook the proteins in the blood, and would kill
all the live blood cells.  Just the burden of the body having to handle
a pint of dead blood cells would likely cause a deadly herx reaction
alone when given via IV (instead of through the digestive tract),
regardless of whether the blood was microwaved, or cooked using too high
a temperature.
