Interesting also to point out the the American Consulate has recently sent out messages to overseas residents about the influenza prospects.

These official messages indicate that the American Consulates have all stocked up on Tamiflu, but can not provide the drug to ordinary Americans not connected to the government. The implication, it seems to me, is that we had better get our own supply if we want to protect ourselves. But other sources indicate this idea is just plain wrong.

It would seem that our public servants have had the wool pulled over their eyes, or at least may have been somewhat misled. But the claims about Rummy's alleged stock profits from Tamiflu sales seem to be going mainstream rather rapidly. That is a change, I think.

My wife and I were to our Dr. last week [I am in my 80s,she is 79] and we discussed this tamiflu vaccine. He said", It is a useless vaccine as the flu strain that is coming is not the one for which Tamiflu will do any good." He did not recommend it.He also said all this scare talk about a flu pandemic coming was mostly media hype.Consequently, we went away with out flu shots.
