Most ultrasonic humidifiers use ion exchange resin filters and will remove CS from the water.
Get one that can be run without the filter and has a submerged vibrating plate.
There's always the option of gutting the filter box if the box is needed to have the humidifier run.

Reloin Ultrasonic from Wallyworld [$35] will do that.
Vicks probably will
Sunbeam probably will
But I KNOW the Relion does. [I have one]

I saw a Vick's Ultrasonic Humidifier on display at our local CVS. The mist output was great but it said on the box that the water filter removes minerals and eliminates "white dust" . Will the filter remove the silver?
