How long does it take you to get to current saturation?

I use a similar method using a 64 oz container (double yours) and
thermal stirring which is much gentler than bubbling. However, although
I don't remember exactly, mine goes into current limit within about 45
minutes and that calculates out to 20ppm for ½ gallon in about 10 or 11
hours.

Yours must not go into current limit as fast because of the vigorous
stirring, otherwise it would be in the 40ppm range (since you are using
half as much water as I am).

I have been using two of them right from the get go.At Approx. 7 bucks
each ,a real bargain as I am sure they should be able to make enough CS
to supply the city of Seattle for about 50 years at the rate they wear
down.I use a transformer.rectified to 34 VDC in 32 0z of double
distilled H2O @ 1 ma for approx 10 to 12 hrs with an aquarium
bubbler.Clear as a bell.I suspend the coins with two alligator clip
jumpers[Radio shack,$1.49].
I'm as happy as if I'm in my right mind.
