It's just that there's always a way around a problem, and I'm
surprised that you tolerate one.
Even though you're ISP is associated with Yahoo, it doesn't mean you
have to use their software for your mail.
You just need your account info to their mailserver and plug it in to
any mail client you want to use.
As long as you can connect to the internet, you could sign up with
some free mail server like hotmail or some other (google for them)
and use that for your list emails, bypassing Yahoo.

You're not real clear in your explanation, are you saying that you can
bypass the spam filter?
