I have one purchased last year. It filters the incoming air, and I like it very much. Unlike the ones of 30 years ago, it doesn't soak everything around it, nor get the air too saturated. Just puts out a nice fine mist, and is adequately quiet. Cost me $18 on sale at Kmart. Mine is a Kaz but the exact same model is also sold under the Vicks brand name.

My purpose for it is just to humidify the air, not to deliver CS, so I run plain DW in it, and may add a splodge of CS once in a while to help inhibit any bacterial or mold in the tank and impeller. But I could not see any reason why it wouldn't deliver any silver in the water into the air.
