Hi Deborah, What I mentioned was a digital multi-meter (DMM) to be used to measure the current during the brew operation. For a fixed procedure one can use current as an indirect measure of the silver ions present after you have had you solution analyzed. The supplier is the Harbor Freight Tools. They have a web site www.harborfreight.com and their DMM sells for $5.00. I have three of them and they are very good quality. "Ole Bob"
