From Jonathan B. Britten:
One leading medical researcher has devoted his career to the theory that
toxoplasm gondii, from cats, particularly their excrement, is a
leading, though not sole, cause of schizophrenia.

From: Connie Howard
I really think that medical researcher needs to have his head examined.
He must be having his researched funded by the government they seem to
want to spend money on anything.

I don't know about cat excrement specifically, but it IS true that
mycotoxins from various microbes pass the blood-brain barrier, thus paving
the way for all sorts of infections. Since the brain is the seat of emotions
as well as sensory input and motor control and thinking, the idea of
schizophrenia being caused by a microbe isn't so far fetched. People in the
Rife field have known about the microbial involvement for years.
Though there are other places I would look than cat's asses ;-)
