Dear Faith,
I did not author most of the article hence the: "here is what one person had
to say;" plus the quotations around the portion that I was quoting. I'm
sorry you chose to react in a negative manner, my intention was to present
the information to the experts here, so that they may dispel common
misconceptions about CS. Also to get some ammunition should I choose to
discuss the matter with the author of the quoted material.
I was not trying to lead anyone in any sort of direction. Being the person
that I am, I like to look at any subject from all angles. I like to get
both sides of the story, so to speak. The response from Jason E was the
reaction I expected (and much appreciated). I thought I made my intentions
clear when I included the disclaimer at the end of that post. Asking for
intellectual comment was an attempt to avoid an emotionally charged
responses that I seem to have received.
You may not have noticed, I posted a few messages on here asking for advice
on home generation. I successfully brewed my first batch, which I promptly
ingested. Although it may not seem like it right now, I value the opinions
of the people on this list, which is precisely why I posted the information.
Thanks for your time,
"Mr." Kel :)

Subject: CS>CS in another group
Not being a very avid reader i.e. follower of threads and CS topics these
days (wife Luz in Colombia for critical operation, work + practice to
run), the presumptuous article >>CS in another group<< by a certain Mr.
Kel made me raise my eyebrows, to say the least.
See:
here is what one person had to say<
And what ONE person says need-be decisive enough to misguide those who
haven't decided about CS yet, either home- or generator made?
Then:
homemade silver is garbage<.
Correct me if am wrong, but this is insulting all of us, CS home-makers. I
don't like it, that's for sure!
Large particles to rip up your blood cells<.
I have been around, my friends, this may have happened to one or two
un-emancipated pats, and consequently was taken as example to the myriads
of dumb-dumbs out-there, scaring them back to the know-it-all docs.
but that is just done done by fools< (mistake not by me). Does this kid
have any sense of ethics?
So I read the rest of this half-grown composition, and just wanted to
quote the last line:
I'm not trying to incite anyone here, I just would like to hear some
intellectual commentary<.
Being a foreigner I had to look up 'incite', and yeah you did incite us
boy. Next you're as audacious as to talk of "intellectual commentary" .. A
piece of good counsel to this writer: Leave the intellectual comments to
intellectuals (whatever 'intellectual' may mean), and start by reading the
netiquette of the internet forums, .. maybe if you learn to write in a
well mannered, un-insulting way, you'll be listened to.
Meanwhile I'll stick to my two silver rods and three 9 volts batteries. I
have seen the miracle happen yet too many times to believe in bawlers.
