Making this almond milk is an easy and cheap way to make non-dairy
"milk" for use on cereal. There are no additives, or anything harmful
whatsoever. Also, for those with cancer and wanting to stay on a raw food
diet, this almond milk can be used on cereal. The cereal in this raw food
diet could consist of such items as Quaker Old Fashioned Oats uncooked,
just out of the box (no processing, just flattened oats, whole grain), raw
almonds, raw black sesame seeds ground in a coffee grinder, raw pumpkin
seeds, dates, raisins, raw sunflower seeds. With the sunflower seeds, you
get more protein, and better quality protein, per unit of weight, than
with beef! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I have had health problems a couple of times from eating raw nuts. They
exacerbated allergies one time as apparently I was allergic to sunflower
seeds and was eating raw cereal like yours daily until I started suffering
from terrible hay fever and many other allergic reactions kicked in.
Another time I started getting terrible pains in my liver after eating a
lot of raw almonds and Brazil nuts, which I learned was related to their
containing enzyme inhibitors that prevent their digestion, and which can be
removed by soaking nuts 8 hours or overnight in water, sprouting, or
cooking. Here is a post from another list regarding this:

"Regarding the nuts issue. Unless they are soaked overnight in water and
then dried before eating you are filling your body with ANTI enzyme
factors and it isn't a good idea. In addition, nuts are really high in
arginine which can make you not real clear mentally, so supplementing
with l lysine might be a good idea. And, obviously, if you are prone to
herpes outbreaks you want to avoid extra arginine and would need to
definitely up your l lysine. people who eat alot of unsprouted nuts
and don't experience any brain issues or digestion issues must be doing
real well digestively. For the average person it isn't a real good idea.

If you are not up for soaking and drying nuts, I highly recommend some
enzymes to go with them. The reason some people have difficulty
digesting nuts is because of the anti enzyme factors they contain. This
makes them store well without rotting, but works against digestion.
Squirrels bury nuts in the ground (or in my potted plants on my deck,
grrrrr) and while in the ground they start to ferment and when the
squirrels dig them up and eat them they are actually healthier for them."
