No Mike in spiritual terms you are not selfish - if you do not think of yourself then you cannot think for, of or about others - everything begins and ends with self, I am not talking about the ego self I am talking about a healthy self esteem which is the only healthy way to live on this planet so that one is able to be the best one can be for one's own self and thereby for others.
