I constantly hear "I'm taking 20 PPM a day"
That makes no sense at all.
 How MUCH at 20 PPM?
It's the same as twice that amount at 10 PPM.

Then, how much into what volume?
If you weigh 700 pounds, it's going to take more to get to the same place.

Add in absorption/elimimation rate variables and deep location difficulties....

Since EIS/CS is less toxic than the water it's in and you won't live long enough to turn blue at or under 20PPM while using it 'instead' of normal daily water intake...and really CHEAP at a dollar per gallon... there's no reason to not over-do the amounts and swamp out the variables.

There's [most] often no way to tell what store bought CS is.
The label could read 20 PPM and test out to 2 PPM.
It could be MSP [Mild Silver Protein] and be 1/50th as effective per dose at 500 PPM while increasing the risk of arygria.
Much store bought is made by a chemical precipitate method.
"EIS" is the exception, rather than the rule for store bought. It takes more time to make and time is money.
MSP is both fast and cheap to manufacture.

The CS "industry" simply has no standards at all. [And, of course, no enforcement of that total lack of standards]

It's usually cheaper to buy an automatic [or manual] generator good to make 50 to 100 gallons with the supplied electrodes [and another 50 to 100 gallons just by getting new electrodes for $5 to $25] than it is to buy a single quart of store bought.

If not that, a nine volt battery or three and a couple of silver wires does a better job than most of the commercial suppliers of stores and makes gallons and gallons of useable to very good CS at about the same cost as 2 oz of that store bought CS that you don't know anything about.

You at least know 'what' you have [EIS..electrically isolated silver], if not the exact PPM. [As though the label didn't lie anyhow and 'exact' PPM mattered when swamping out intake variables for virtually no cost.]

Add it all up and it makes zero sense to not make your own.
It's just too safe, cheap and easy to not do.

..and "that" is why all that negative propaganda is circulating as regards to making your own and/or using CS at all with so much hidden financial and technical backing to keep it in the forefront. "Monied" interests stand to loose massive market share to the DYI and spend mega dollars to keep you uncertain. The reality is, safety and cost for home made EIS wins out 3 million to one to all the more expensive and less safe alternatives.

Marshall, thanks for your response. Right now I'm taking 14ppm three times daily. I think I might be gettting a mild herx coming on. Its hard to tell with Lyme. before I started taking this I had been having a bad couple of weeks and felt much better after starting this. I have read testimonies of people having good results from chronic lyme taking 5-20ppm three times daily. Right now I am purchasing my CS so it is not affordable for me to take a quart a day. Since I'm new to this I also worry about argyria. I want to see how this works before I attempt making my own. Heidi

Subject: Re: CS>Lyme disease and CS

First of all CS is very effective against the Lyme spirochete. If you use it in the first few days after being bit, recovery should be rapid and complete. However the spirochetes are very good at hiding, and will hide in areas of the body that CS simply does not reach or reach well, such as the brain, nerve ganglia, cartilage, bone and the lymph system. Thus for many people who have had it for a long time it is necessary to use complementary protocols to reach them in these areas. The protocol most have reported with success here is the Bob Beck protocol, using either his blood electrification or the Clark Zapper. This protocol is CS, ozonated water, zapping/electrification and magnetic pulsing.

You may not be getting a herx because you are not taking enough. Can you tell us what you are taking, what ppm, and how much. A quart or more a day of 5 - 20 ppm would not be excessive as long as you don't get too severe a herx.

Hi, I am new to the list. I have suffered with Lyme disease for over 10 years. Have been on antibiotics the entire time. I came accross information on colloidal silver and Lyme Disease. I even read a few testimonies from people that have tried CS for Lyme. The problem is all the testimonies are several years old. Is there anyone that can give me some updates on their use with CS and Lyme Disease? I have been taking it for 3 1/2 days now. I definitely feel better so far but don't believe I've experienced a herx yet which makes me wonder if its working. Any bodies comment's please. Heidi
