Japanese MDs lost a number of child patents some years ago by giving massive doses of antibiotics; the toxins released killed the children.
A file on the Rife list said that results of a medical trial that were not released in the normal way in Germany indicated that the medications normally given had to be given at more frequent intervals for Legionnaire's disease to be effective. They could have got into trouble for not doing it the orthodox way, so the doctors kept quiet. Never mind saving lives, you have to do it the way its laid down. But it does indicate that smaller doses more frequently might in some cases be more effective in respiratory illnesses - though I guess the real factor was the pathogen itself.
