I do think 'bugs' can replicate that fast, and be quite difficult to get at with any amount of oral CS, or zapping or other means. And sometimes any individual can come into contact with a pathogen they have a particular susceptibility to.

Being susceptible to nearly everything myself, I have to stop the invasion before it sets up house. I do that by misting my eyes and hands regularly when when I get back to my car when I have been in public, I mist again when I get home. The downside of course, is this means I can't just sip CS and hope it will stop me getting a cold or flu. For me it doesn't. Just a while back my husband came down with something very like what Terry describes. I did take more of my CS, but I also washed my hands a lot, and misted several times a day even at home. It took my husband some 3 weeks to get over whatever he had, and he was dreadfully sick, but I never got it.

Not everyone will be willing to mist their eyes religiously every day, after every single time they may have come into contact with pathogens, but I am. It is well worth it to me.

Is it possible that a bug can replicate so FAST , manufacture some very potent toxins and be so deep in hard to get to places that the kill rate of EIS can't outrun the growth rate even at it's maximum absorption rate?

Once you feel sick, it's already too late.
It's all 'subsequent' damage control and slow down from there...then house cleaning which can take several days depending on the damage done.

It may not be a good idea to find out what would have happened without the CS.
