I just wanted to say here that natural sodium and table salt are two
different things. If you eat natural sodium (try celery) it may help. Table
salt is actually a poison according to a book I read. I don't have time to
dig it out and explain it as well as may be necessary but, if you have acid
reflux and have tried taking baking soda in a little water and that offers
you relief, - it means that you are lacking in sodium (NOT to be confused
with table salt) Table salt actually does have it's benefits because it is a
poison it may kill some unfriendly things, and of course, since they put
iodine in it, you may be short on iodine if you crave salt. Most Americans
are deficient in sodium. Again, when I say sodium I am not referring to
table salt, but the cell salts we all need in our body to not get sick.

prombotion of a low sodium diet is one thing that causes this. you can also
get a supplement at the health food store called Betaine Hydrochloride which
is basically HCL in capsule form and take that along with meals.
