Hi M., Well the sauna I made was real simple. I got 4 porcelain lamp sockets fgrom the hardware store ( about 2 bucks each) and screwed them to a board and hung the board over my bed. then I took a couple pieces of the shiny aluminum bubble wrap insulating material and hung one sheet on each side so I wolud be laying in the middle with the lamps shining down on me. Works real nice
An alternative way to do it is get a big enough roll of the aluminum bubble wrap insulation and it is stiff enough to stand on the floor in a big circle about 3 feet in diameter or more and then you put a chair inside and have a few of those ceramic heaters monuted on a board sittnig on the floor pointing upward at an angle. then you put a piece of the insulation stuff on top for a lid and sit inside of it. the aluminum reflects the infrared all over and you get pretty even coverage. When you are done you can roll up the thing and store it. This is Far infrar red you are dealnig with here and is different than the red heat lamps. Its much gentler and goes deeper in with out so much tempereature. Do a google search on FIR saunas to get lots of data. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=FIR+sauna&btnG=Search Many of the sauna companies buy their elements from the same place. Let me know if you have any other questions. Take care, V >> Hey V, Seems to me that sometime ago you made yourself a sauna with >> these bulbs. How did that work out for you?
