ok..have a drink then..if you get really ill, well then you know it's not organic..hahaha. WD40 also, breaks down rust..so there must be an acidic compound to neutralize it. known to free up seazed bolts..many lubricants are out on the market now that smell almost the same and do the same.

Hard to say, searching with google, I find people who say it does, and
people who say it doesn't. But being highly penetrating, I would not be
surprised if it did.
